April that doesn't sound natural becoming a vegetarian should not affect your muscles. I can't say what is causing that I am not a doctor. I have never had that happen to me only when a go back to an exercise program that I haven't been doing for a while.

I have been a veg for a week now and I was wondering why my muscles hurt specially my legs. Is this a natural thing where my body is dumping out toxins or am I lacking in my diet? If you have any guess please let me know thanks.

There are a bunch of great cookbooks Vegetarian Times have several good ones. One of the best ones is Vegetarian Times Complete Cookbook. There is also Vegan with a Vengeance by Isa Moskowitz. Some Like it Hot by Robin Robertson. Vegetarian Cooking for Everyone by Deborah Madison. And I can't forget to mention Moosewood Cookbook by Mollie Katzen (She has several great books as well). That is mentioning a few that I personally have and love. I hope it helps and happy cooking!

I've been a vegetarian for more than 14 years. And I have never looked back it was one of the best things I could have done. One of the main reasons I did it was to make my footprint on the earth smaller. And to no longer have the blood of animals on my hands nor on my plate.
